About QVH
QVH provides specialist reconstructive surgery and expert therapy and rehabilitation services for people across the South of England who have experience damage or disfigurement as a result of disease, trauma, burns, major surgery or a congenital condition. Our leading consultant teams hold clinics at our hospital site in East Grinstead, West Sussex, and at a wide network of other sites across the South East Coast region. Our specialties include:
- plastic surgery (particularly breast, hands, lower limb and skin cancer) and burns;
- head and neck, including maxillofacial surgery, orthodontics and sleep disorders;
- corneoplastics and ophthalmology (eyes); and
- therapies, including dietetics, psychological therapy and speech and language therapy.
Quality rating
In October 2009, QVH was the only trust in the South East Coast region to achieve the highest possible rating from the Care Quality Commission and one of only four hospitals in England to do so for three consecutive years:
- Quality of services: excellent
- Quality of financial management: excellent
